Position it correctly

Distinguish the right and left products according to their labels. Place the swollen area beneath your big toe into the recessed part of the special pad inside Restio.

Adjust the tightness to suit you

Thread the straps through the loops in order. Adjust the tightness so that it provides a comfortable, pleasant pressure without restricting blood circulation. Check that both products are applying pressure to the correct point.

Use it while resting

You can use Restio while sitting, lying down, before or during sleep, or on long journeys.

How to put on Restio®

Use it while resting. You can use Restio while sitting, lying down, before sleep, during sleep or on long journeys.

RIGHTLEFT

Separate the right and left pieces and position them correctly

The right and left pieces in the box are identified by their inner labels. Place the product on a flat surface. Position the bulge under each big toe (the first metatarsal head) into the recessed (hollow) part of the T-shaped pad inside the product, shown by the arrows in the image.

Fasten the straps

Your toes should remain uncovered at the tip of Restio. Thread the straps through the rings one by one and fasten them. The straps should be tight enough to give a comfortable pressure, but not so tight that they restrict blood circulation.

Do a final check

As a final step, check the following:

On both feet, check that the recesses in the pads press on the correct points under the big toes.
Check the tightness of all straps. If you do not feel enough pressure, tighten them; if the pressure feels excessive, loosen them and readjust.

What does Restio® do?

Restio is a foot-worn device developed to help relieve complaints associated with restless legs syndrome. With its special design and structure, it applies gentle pressure to the abductor hallucis and flexor hallucis brevis muscles of the foot, helping to minimise restless legs syndrome complaints and supporting better sleep quality.

Drug-free Restio contains no drugs, magnetic fields or chemical substances. For this reason, no risk of side effects or dependency has been observed.

Two pieces in the box The box contains two pieces in total, one for the right foot and one for the left. To feel the effect of Restio, both pieces must be worn as described.

Put it on as an attack begins Putting the product on when you feel a restless legs attack coming helps it work faster. In this case, relief is generally expected within 1 hour. However, in some patients this period may extend to several days or even several weeks.

Can also be used while resting in the evening Restio can be used during any attack, and using it even without an attack, especially while resting in the evening, helps minimise attacks that may develop during sleep so you can sleep more comfortably. With regular use, the product helps reduce the number and duration of attacks.

Light and compact Thanks to its light and compact design, Restio is easy to carry and use while travelling or at events such as the theatre or cinema.

Precautions

For safe use

Restio is a personal product. For hygiene reasons, it should not be used by other people.
The product can be worn throughout the night. However, it is recommended to loosen the straps slightly when going to bed.
To increase the effect, you may stand on the product while wearing it. However, take care to avoid the risk of falling.
Do not use during activities that put load on the feet, such as walking, running or driving.
Correct pressure is essential for the therapeutic effect. To make sure it is worn correctly, you should feel a relaxing and comfortable pressure.
For sensitive skin, use with a thin sock.
Do not use in water (e.g. in the shower, bath or while swimming).
If you feel pain, numbness, burning, tingling or hypersensitivity during use, loosen the straps; if the complaints persist, remove the product.
Keep out of the reach of children.

Consult your doctor before use If you have neuropathy, a circulatory disorder, vascular disease, varicose veins, a history of blood clots or swelling of the legs/feet; a fracture, sprain, wound, sensitive skin, redness, cut or abrasion on the foot; or diabetes, kidney failure, heart disease, pregnancy or any other medical condition your doctor considers unsuitable, use the product only after consulting your doctor.
